You are quite talented, Lisa. Thanks for sharing this blog. I am very intrigued, and I especially like your thoughts on music and light in respect to Mozart.
I'm curious about the rabbits in the New Year's picture. What was your reason for using rabbits?
David - Thank you for your comments and for checking out my blog! It's a Japanese tradition to send new years cards to friends and family featuring the zodiac animal of the new year.. and 2011 is the year of the rabbit. Also referring to a Japanese myth about rabbits on the moon pounding mochi, a Japanese rice-snack. Yay!
Ooo, it's the year of the rabbit next year. I completely forgot. That means we're getting old Lisa!!
You should open an online shop for cards; these are infinitely better than any card I've seen in shops anywhere!
Oh, and re the picture of B, I think I will need to postpone it for now, hehe. But I will commission something soon, I just need some inspiration...something that is definitely lacking these days.
Keep posting Lisa, your work reminds me of how weird and wonderful you are :)

About the card idea- thanks! I'm thinking of getting some sort of screen-printing device set up so I can bust out more cards & art to sell.
Well, I still owe you the icon of your face. What if I do something inspired by you.. not such a literal copy of a picture of you?
I miss you too! Come to Chicago, majide!
